We had been looking for a very long time for the right dog. We had an idea about what we wanted and contact the Friends Fur Life, Inc Rescue. Renee was so very helpful in helping us choose the right dog. The dog we actually inquired about ended up not being a good fit for our family. But, she told us about several dogs in her rescue that would work for us and asked if we would be interested. Reggie (now known as Flash) was the one that stood out to us because of his sweetness and gentle personality. We found out that he had been saved from euthanasia at a very high kill shelter in TN and had been taken to Friends Fur Life. I can't believe that a dog like this wound up as a stray and taken to the shelter. He is as close to perfect as they come.

When we brought him home, he walked right in like he had been here forever It was almost as if he knew that this was his home. I think that it was meant to be. I think of the many people involved in Flash's rescue and I can't thank them enough. He's right where he should be and he'll never be alone ever again. If you are considering a rescue animal, but are afraid that rescued animals have baggage, don't be hesitant to take a chance on the right one.
